5. 초록 : A diffusion equation is one of most famous partial differential equations (PDEs). Intensity of influence by diffusion can be understood as smoothness and regularity of solutions. We introduce motivations for generalized diffusion equations and relations between diffusion effect and regularity of solutions to diffusion equations. In particular, we present recent results for degenerate diffusion equations.
